We are currently looking for a new Receptionist to manage the reception area of Sheraton Saigon HQ Hotel & Towers in Ho Chi Minh City. As the first point of contact for new and existing customers, you will become the face of our organization. Meeting and greeting people, guiding visitors, and answering phones are some of your main duties. You will also be responsible for most of our office management, including responsibilities such as ordering office supplies and overseeing office maintenance.
Responsibilities of the receptionist
• Meet and welcome visitors to our office in a professional, friendly and warm manner.
• Answer visitors' questions and direct them to the right person or department.
• Answer the phone in a polite and supportive manner.
• Assist customers and co-workers in operating office equipment, such as printing documents or cleaning coffee makers.
• Manage the reception area and ensure it is always clean and tidy.
• Receive and distribute any incoming mail or deliveries.
• Perform office management tasks, such as inventorying our office supplies and ordering new office equipment as needed.
• Schedule meetings and update company calendar.
Requirements for receptionists
• Proven experience working as a Receptionist or in a similar position.
• Professional, warm and friendly personality.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good phone handling skills.
• Proficiency in word processing, emailing, and scheduling tools such as Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
• High typing speed of at least 40 wpm.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize your workload independently.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Some office management experience (e.g., inventory counting) preferred.
