SEO staff are people who manage SEO activities such as content strategy, keyword strategy and link building to help increase company website rankings on major search pages. In addition, SEO staff are also in charge of SEM campaigns on Google to optimize ROI (Return on investment).
Specific tasks of SEO staff include:- Develop content strategy, keyword strategy and link building to help increase company website rankings on major search pages.
- Research and build keyword sets for SEO
- Develop and implement link building strategies
- Coordinate with the Content department of the Marketing department to build SEO standard content for the website
- Research and analyze business products/services, analyze customers and competitors to build SEO strategies
- Coordinate with the Technical department to build a website that supports SEO standards
- Recommend changes/improvements in website structure, content, linking as well as other factors to optimize SEO effectiveness
- Track, evaluate, and monitor SEO results. Report work results to Marketing Manager
Job requirements for SEO staff To apply for the position of SEO staff, you need to have the following requirements:
- University graduate majoring in Marketing, Communications or related field
- Have at least 1 year of experience as an SEO specialist or similar position
- In-depth understanding of website analytics tools (Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends,...)
- Understand the factors that affect website rankings and search engine algorithms
- Having knowledge of HTML and CSS is an advantage
- Continuously update the latest knowledge about SEO/SEM
