Species and Habitat Program Manager (SHM) participates in direct management and ensures output quality of two migratory bird conservation projects in the Red River Delta Biosphere (RRDB) region and the project large mammal conservation at Chu Yang Sin National Park.
Together with project staff, ensure the maintenance and management of documents, data (images, videos etc.) and project assets;
Act as a point of contact for local partners and donors;
Together with the Director & HR, develop terms of reference and hire consultants & monitor the quality of consultants' output products;
Together with the director and project staff, come up with ideas, directly write project proposals and raise funds for subsequent activities of the project and related programs;
Responsible for coordinating with relevant officials to organize and implement events and training courses to improve capacity for local partners according to the framework of the project;
Work with accounting and administrative staff and project staff to ensure project efficiency and transparency;
Work closely with the Education Project Manager, plan and coordinate implementation, support the content of educational publications & awareness-raising propaganda to ensure the output of propaganda activities, raise awareness for people;
Work with the Communications and Fundraising team to develop media content on social networks, websites and respond to the press when requested;
Prepare progress reports and financial reports of the project (in English and Vietnamese) for sponsors and report according to current regulations to relevant management agencies; and other extraordinary financial reports upon request (if any);
Check and initially approve budget estimates and expenditures and settlement reports of project activities, ensuring that planning and disbursement of activities comply with agreed commitments with the investor. sponsorship, governing body and current legal regulations;
Collect, store and complete fully and accurately invoices and payment documents for project activities.
Perform other activities as requested by Direct Manager and Director.
