Job Description

A. JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Job Summary

The Business Development Manager/Director (Japanese native speaker) will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and achieving sales targets for our headhunt/human resource outsourcing services. The successful candidate will play a critical role in expanding our client portfolio and driving revenue growth.

2. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to attract new clients, focusing on Japanese clients , within the headhunt/human resource outsourcing domain.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and their needs, and create tailored solutions to meet those needs.
  • Generate leads, cold calls, and schedule meetings with key decision-makers to present our services and establish long-term partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and uncovering opportunities for additional services.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals, meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to understand client requirements and provide exceptional service delivery.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions, providing insights and recommendations to the management team.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of projects and client satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present reports to the management team on sales performance and market analysis.

B. REQUIREMENTS

  • Japanese native speakers.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Economics, Languages or any related field.
  • Proven work experience as Business Development Manager/Director in any industry, preferable in the headhunt or human resource outsourcing industry.
  • Strong sales track record, consistent meetings or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent knowledge of headhunt/human resource outsourcing services and the recruitment industry.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, with both verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, with excellent negotiation and presentation skills (especially using presentation software)
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently and teamwork.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, preferable in CRM software
  • Willingness to travel to client meetings and industry events
