In charge of receiving information about orders to be imported or exported, preparing orders from the factory until handing over the shops or parts of the company.
Liaise with distributors, store or sales personnel, points of sale, stores, suppliers and distributors.
Maintain and store database of orders, inventory data, sales data.
Propose ideas to coordinate merchandise at the counter/store to maximize sales.
Forecast future profits and sales, combined to optimize sales at each point of sale.
Plan, balance the budget and present sales forecast to superiors.
Work with shipping department or partners in charge of shipping.
Use computer software and specialized machines to process data.
Statistics on production figures, sales performance forecast.
Analyze every aspect of best-selling items in order of sales, based on sales volume (e.g. price features, product color or best-selling style) .
Track items with low orders, attract fewer customers, and recommend actions to drive sales.
Collect information about customer feedback on products and services that businesses provide.
Experience in merchandising or similar positions
Proficient in office computer, excel, ppt…
Experience and knowledge in the fashion industry is an advantage
Proficient in communication and negotiation skills
Quick business mind, ability to quickly identify problems and propose solutions.
Ability to plan products and prioritize tasks.
Ability to do well in the assigned tasks in a team and build and maintain effective working relationships with many people
